Luke 9:7-9
Herod the tetrarch heard about all that was happening, and he was greatly perplexed because some were saying, "John has been raised from the dead"; others were saying, "Elijah has appeared"; still others, "One of the ancient prophets has arisen." But Herod said, "John I beheaded. Who then is this about whom I hear such things?" And he kept trying to see him.
Dawg's thought:
Today's prayer intention is for more countries to uphold bans on abortions.
If you're doing something good, it'll get noticed. Of course, often times it draws attention what you may not necessarily want.
Jesus told us this would happen. He told us that we would endure the trials and sufferings for the sake of "acting" on the Gospel message. He told us, but even more profoundly, He showed us.
If you are enduring some trial at this time, give thanks to God for allowing you imitate Christ so that you can offer your own sufferings for the conversion of souls, including your own. Take care and God Bless.
