John 6: 44-51
Jesus said to the crowds: "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draw him, and I will raise him on the last day. It is written in the prophets:
They shall all be taught by God.
Everyone who listens to my Father and learns from him comes to me. Not that anyone has seen the Father except the one who is from God; he has seen the Father. Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life. I am the bread of life. Your ancestors ate the manna in the desert, but they died; this is the bread that comes down from heaven so that one may eat it and not die. I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my Flesh for the life of the world."
Dawg's thought:
The Father draws us all to Him.
One day, while we rejoice in heaven, we'll talk about the struggles we had here on earth. We'll talk about how we argued over petty things. We'll talk about how we would deceive each other to get our own way.
We'll remember the times we felt lonely. We'll remember the time we felt hurt. We'll remember the times we disappointed God and others.
We will look back at the pain and know that it was all worthwhile. Jesus gives Himself to us DAILY as the our manna in our desert. As we all go through this period in the desert, we need the Bread of Life to help us get to heaven. Christ came to us in the form of human flesh so that we may return to the Father, for the Father wants us all to be with Him.
One day, we'll rejoice in heaven. Take care and God Bless.
