Luke 21:1-4
When Jesus looked up he saw some wealthy people putting their offerings into the treasury and he noticed a poor widow putting in two small coins. He said, "I tell you truly, this poor widow put in more than all the rest; for those others have all made offerings from their surplus wealth, but she, from her poverty, has offered her whole livelihood."
Dawg's thought:
Today's prayer intention is for the father-in-law of a friend of mine who is nearing the end of his life, that he comes to know God's mercy.
Today is the Memorial of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Today's reading reminds me that it's important not to judge the gifts that people offer. The fact that they are making the offer in gratitude to Our Lord in order to glorify Our Lord pleases God, and that's what it's all about. Take care and God Bless.
