Luke 11:29-32

While still more people gathered in the crowd, Jesus said to them, "This generation is an evil generation; it seeks a sign, but no sign will be given it, except the sign of Jonah. Just as Jonah became a sign to the Ninevites, so will the Son of Man be to this generation. At the judgment the queen of the south will rise with the men of this generation and she will condemn them, because she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and there is something greater than Solomon here. At the judgment the men of Nineveh will arise with this generation and condemn it, because at the preaching of Jonah they repented, and there is something greater than Jonah here."

Dawg's thought:

Today's prayer intention is for those who are in the military overseas, that they may come home to their families safely.

"What's going on in your life now?"

How would you answer that? Would you talk about your family? Would you talk about your job? Would you talk about something that you're anticipating or a cool new gadget you just purchased?

I know that I would talk about these things before I even get a chance to talk God's goodness in my life.

When we are going through our days, stressed by so many factors, it's always comforting to remember that "there is something greater than *insert stress* here." There is something greater than *insert blessing we may have turned into a god* here.

There truly is something greater than the things that turn our hearts from God here. Turn your hearts to Him and give thanks, for what is greater than Jesus Christ? Take care and God Bless.
