John 6: 37-40
Jesus said to the crowds: "Everything that the Father gives me will come to me, and I will not reject anyone who comes to me, because I came down from heaven not to do my own will but the will of the one who sent me. And this is the will of the one who sent me, that I should not lose anything of what he gave me, but that I should raise it on the last day. For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him may have eternal life, and I shall raise him on the last day."

Today's prayer intention - for the repose of the souls of Anne, Tom, and Ruth Henry
Lord Jesus Christ,
You say that You will raise us on the last day,
and in doing so, You do the will of the Father.
Knowing that it is You Who will raise us up,
I humbly ask that You foreshadow how You will raise us up.
Raise us up today with the virtue of the Saints
who have gone before us.
Raise us up this hour with the humility
to do the will of the Father ...
to accept the will of the Father ...
to love the will of the Father.
Raise us up so in Your ways
for our own sake and for the sake of others
that we all may desire to come to You ...
come to The One Who will not reject us
but rather The One Who will raise us up.
Raise us up, Lord,
so that we may have the hope of heaven
in our trials here on earth.
Raise us up, Lord. Amen.
Take care and God Bless.
