Friday in the First Week of Advent
Matthew 9:27-31

As Jesus passed by, two blind men followed him, crying out, "Son of David, have pity on us!" When he entered the house, the blind men approached him and Jesus said to them, "Do you believe that I can do this?" "Yes, Lord," they said to him. Then he touched their eyes and said, "Let it be done for you according to your faith." And their eyes were opened. Jesus warned them sternly, "See that no one knows about this." But they went out and spread word of him through all that land.

Dawg's thought:

Today's prayer intention is for those who struggle with depression, for healing and for understanding.

--
Infant, Renewer of the heavens, have mercy on us.
Infant, Repairer of the evils of the earth, have mercy on us.
Infant, Head of the angels, have mercy on us.
--

Christ is Lord over all things, here on earth and in the heavens. Those who are live in the light bow down before Him and those who live in darkness fear Him.

We have no reason to be ashamed of His Holy Name. We have no reason to fear His Holy Name. We have no reason to run from Him, hide from Him, or escape His merciful embrace. The same Christ we receive is Lord over all the heavens and the earth.

Therefore, my brothers and sisters, feel liberated like the two blind men in today's reading. He is Lord over all, and all we need to do is place our faith in Him. He is Lord over all aspects of our lives, from our work to our homes to our family and friends. He is Lord over all, from the angels to the ants.

Rejoice, brothers and sisters, because this Lord came to us and dwells in us. Rejoice, for your Lord and Savior is Lord over all. Take care and God Bless.
