Tuesday in the Third Week in Advent
Matthew 21:28-32

Jesus said to the chief priests and the elders of the people: "What is your opinion? A man had two sons. He came to the first and said, 'Son, go out and work in the vineyard today.' The son said in reply, 'I will not,' but afterwards he changed his mind and went. The man came to the other son and gave the same order. He said in reply, 'Yes, sir,' but did not go. Which of the two did his father's will?" They answered, "The first." Jesus said to them, "Amen, I say to you, tax collectors and prostitutes are entering the Kingdom of God before you. When John came to you in the way of righteousness, you did not believe him; but tax collectors and prostitutes did. Yet even when you saw that, you did not later change your minds and believe him."

Dawg's thought:

Today's prayer intention is for non-profit organizations as they prepare for the Christmas rush.

Words and actions. I was listening to a talk by Dr. Conrad Baars, a Catholic psycologist, and a woman asked him during the Q/A section, "I have a friend of mine who is struggling with addiction. What do I say to her?" His response was, "Nothing. Just go there and show her that she is good and that you love her."

When Christ died on the cross, He used very little words. When Christ became incarnate, He used no words.

We are all called to serve. Christ's words today doesn't challenge us not to speak His truth, but rather challenges us to live out His truth better. The best thing we can do to love Our Lord is to love versus talking about loving... or in my case... typing about loving. Take care and God Bless.
