Tuesday in the Second Week in Advent |
Isaiah 40: 11
Like a shepherd he feeds his flock; in his arms he gathers the lambs, Carrying them in his bosom, and leading the ewes with care.
Dawg's thought:
Today's prayer intention is for those who will be alone this Christmas season, that Christ will comfort them.
Today's first reading is Isaiah 40: 1-11.
There are times when I feel complete down from my own faults. This is why today's reading is what I needed. I NEED to hear that God will feed His flock. I NEED to hear that He will gather us whenever we go off on our own little tangent (which I have done so many times). I NEEDED to hear today that He is leading me with care. Thank You, Lord Jesus. Take care and God Bless.
