Tuesday in the Third Week of Advent
Matthew 21: 28-32

Jesus said to the chief priests and the elders of the people: "What is your opinion? A man had two sons. He came to the first and said, 'Son, go out and work in the vineyard today.' The son said in reply, 'I will not,' but afterwards he changed his mind and went. The man came to the other son and gave the same order. He said in reply, 'Yes, sir,' but did not go. Which of the two did his father's will?" They answered, "The first." Jesus said to them, "Amen, I say to you, tax collectors and prostitutes are entering the Kingdom of God before you. When John came to you in the way of righteousness, you did not believe him; but tax collectors and prostitutes did. Yet even when you saw that, you did not later change your minds and believe him."

Dawg's Thought:

Today's prayer intention - for those who are suffering with cancer.

It has been a long time working in the vineyard. I am grateful to have started this doing this for family and friends in 1995.

Over the past few months, it seems that the amount of time needed to try to keep up with this ministry daily has been a struggle. Often times, reflections would take close to two hours of meditation to write. It is a labor of love, and I am grateful for the call to do this.

I had the reading up, and I knew that I had too much to today. I got as far as my car before thinking about today's reading ...

As I think about today, and just today, I know that I want to serve Our Lord well. Even in the midst of being really busy, He deserves my meager offering.

I know that many of you on this list are toilers in the vineyard. I know many of your stories, and I know that many of you are doing the work of Our Lord. For you, my brothers and sisters, I offer this. Some of you are priests, deacons, religious, lay missionaries. I cannot do what you are doing. I know that some of your are trying to raise children, while others are still discerning their vocation.

We all are doing our part, and in this we are unified. We are all unified because we believe in Our Lord, Jesus Christ. Take care and God Bless.
