Luke 13: 18-21

Jesus said, "What is the Kingdom of God like? To what can I compare it? It is like a mustard seed that a man took and planted in the garden. When it was fully grown, it became a large bush and the birds of the sky dwelt in its branches."

Again he said, "To what shall I compare the Kingdom of God? It is like yeast that a woman took and mixed in with three measures of wheat flour until the whole batch of dough was leavened."

Dawg's Thought:

Today's prayer intention - for those who are seeking employment.

Lord, do you invite me to be small?

Your Kingdom is like a mustard seed,
small until it sprouts toward the sky.
Your call to Elijah was a whisper
that followed after fires passed by.

Your victory was in submission,
answering the Father's call.
Your birth, in a humble manger.
Lord, do you invite me to be small?

Lord, help me decrease for You to increase,
like the dough increased by the yeast.
Help me serve the poor and the lost,
and reach out to the ones who are least.

Let Your Kingdom Come, Lord,
through Your invitation for me to be small.

Take care and God Bless.
