Through the Rosary, I have been meditating a lot on Jesus Christ being fully human and fully divine. It really made me take a look at my own life, my own weaknesses and rethinking God's grace.
In today's reading, God provides a coin... a means for them to do the will of The Father. Through the Gospels, we can see how God provides, not only in the times the Gospels were written, but also in our own lives. How has God provided the grace for you in your own life?
Today, I rode my bike to my favorite Japanese restaurant here in Phoenix. I normally have a backpack that I ride with that has everything, but I just wanted to get on my bike and ride before my fears of the Arizona heat stopped me from going. After I was done eating, I noticed that my wallet was gone. Thankfully, it was at home. Thankfully, I was given grace at the moment to call my parents so that they could give their credit card to the restaurant.
When I got home, a friend of mine called and told me that he hadn't eaten for 2 days. I was going to pick him up when I closed the door behind me and forgot my keys. Through God's grace, I made arrangements, made a phone call, and I was able to get into my house without shattered glass.
God provides for each of us everyday, through the Gospels, through the sacraments, and in our everyday lives so that we can do His will. Hey, God even provided reflection material to write today. Take care and God Bless.
