Luke 17:1-6

Jesus said to his disciples, "Things that cause sin will inevitably occur, but woe to the one through whom they occur. It would be better for him if a millstone were put around his neck and he be thrown into the sea than for him to cause one of these little ones to sin. Be on your guard! If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he wrongs you seven times in one day and returns to you seven times saying, 'I am sorry,' you should forgive him."

And the Apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith." The Lord replied, "If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you would say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and planted in the sea,' and it would obey you."

Dawg's thought:

Today's prayer intention is for those who have thoughts of suicide, that they find hope in Christ for the sufferings that they feel overwhelmed in.

Today is a great day! Think about all the opportunities that we have today:

- We have the opportunity to recognize that sin will inevitably occur. Through this, we have the opportunity to know that our relationship with Christ will have the chance to continue to grow because of our reliance on Him.

- We have the opportunity to love our neighbors, hoping that we won't lead them into sin by our actions or our lack of action.

(and a huge one...)

- We have the opportunity to forgive those who may have hurt us no matter how many times they may have hurt us.

Through all of these, we have the opportunity to grow in faith. It's amazing to think of our sins as a means to grow in our faith. It's amazing to think that our willingness to forgive others has a part in growing in our faith in The Lord. Today is a great day! Make it a holy one!

Take care and God Bless!
