Tuesday, Week 3 of Advent
Matthew 21:28-32

Jesus said to the chief priests and the elders of the people: "What is your opinion? A man had two sons. He came to the first and said, 'Son, go out and work in the vineyard today.' The son said in reply, 'I will not,' but afterwards he changed his mind and went. The man came to the other son and gave the same order. He said in reply, 'Yes, sir,' but did not go. Which of the two did his father's will?" They answered, "The first." Jesus said to them, "Amen, I say to you, tax collectors and prostitutes are entering the Kingdom of God before you. When John came to you in the way of righteousness, you did not believe him; but tax collectors and prostitutes did. Yet even when you saw that, you did not later change your minds and believe him."

Dawg's thought:

Today's prayer intention is for God's abundance and grace on Maggie's Place, Andre House and Cafe Fiat this Advent and Christmas season.

Every weekday, I try to send these emails out with the reading for the day and a little reflection on the reading. All this would be useless if I did not try to live the Gospel message every day... every minute... every second.

We have been given a precious gift, yet it is still our responsibility to live the Gospel message. If we neglected to live the Gospel message, we are not doing Our Father's will. We can proclaim the Gospel message to millions... We can invite everyone we know to church... We can challenge everyone to live holy lives... yet it will all mean nothing if we are not willing to live the Gospel.

We have been given a precious gift, brothers and sisters. It is time we make use of It. Take care and God Bless.
