Psalm 47: 2-10
All you peoples, clap your hands;
shout to God with joyful cries.
For the LORD, the Most High,
inspires awe, the great king overall the earth,
Who made people subject to us,
brought nations under our feet,
Who chose a land for our heritage,
the glory of Jacob, the beloved. Selah
God mounts the throne amid shouts of joy;
the LORD, amid trumpet blasts.
Sing praise to God, sing praise;
sing praise to our king, sing praise.
God is king over all the earth;
sing hymns of praise.
God rules over the nations;
God sits upon his holy throne.
The princes of the peoples assemble
with the people of the God of Abraham.
For the rulers of the earth belong to God,
who is enthroned on high.

Thanks for letting me contribute, Dawg...
Verse, Verse, Prechorus, Chorus, Verse, Bridge, Chorus (Repeat and Fade).
I personally would've put the Chorus ("Sing praise to God...") at the end with the repeat and fade, but let's face it, David is the most famous songwriter of all time and if he doesn't want to repeat the chorus at the end, it's probably ok.
Modern pop cliches aside, when your subject matter is praise for the Almighty the last thing you should be concerned with is style, but it is nice to have choices. I believe this applies to us today. We are given the gift of the church today and there are many different styles of prayer, with the greatest being the mass. Whenever I'm stuck in my prayer life, I like to look into different prayer traditions (the rosary, reading/singing the psalms aloud, etc...) for a little variety, with the focus always being on the Lord, thanksgiving and discerning His plans for my life.
I hope this finds you all well.... take care and God Bless. Now go and pray.
