Mark 8:11-13
The Pharisees came forward and began to argue with Jesus, seeking from him a sign from heaven to test him. He sighed from the depth of his spirit and said, "Why does this generation seek a sign? Amen, I say to you, no sign will be given to this generation." Then he left them, got into the boat again, and went off to the other shore.
Dawg's thought:
Today's prayer intention is for a special intention.
Sometimes when we pray, we are the master of words, but how often do we practice the art of listening? The Pharisees sure did a lot of talking in today's reading.
When we enter into prayer, how many times are we like the Pharisees: seeking a sign, revelation or fulfillment of a prayer request? I am ashamed to say too many times for me.
Be still and know that He is God. Take care and God Bless.
