Matthew 22:34-40
When the Pharisees heard that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together, and one of them, a scholar of the law, tested him by asking, "Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?" He said to him, "You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. The whole law and the prophets depend on these two commandments."
Dawg's thought:
Today's prayer intention is for a special intention.
How is God calling you to love Him today? How is He calling you to love your neighbor today?
Today, we lost track of time here at work discussing our faith. During that discussion, we discussed why, as Catholics, we do things. What it all boils down to is obedience to God first, and obedience to His ways and loving His ways alone. Through that, we love each other as brothers and sisters in Him and through Him.
Today, be aware of the yoke of obedience to Him, and through Him, learn the true meaning of love. Take care and God Bless.
