Matthew 18:12-14
Jesus said to his disciples: "What is your opinion? If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them goes astray, will he not leave the ninety-nine in the hills and go in search of the stray? And if he finds it, amen, I say to you, he rejoices more over it than over the ninety-nine that did not stray. In just the same way, it is not the will of your heavenly Father that one of these little ones be lost."
Dawg's thought:
Today's prayer intention is for those you know who have strayed away from God.
"... it is not the will of your heavenly Father that one of these little ones be lost."
Before time began, God knew that each of us would struggle in our return to Him. He knew that all of us would get lost along the way. He knew that all of us would one day disobey Him.
Yet, in His mercy, He came down from heaven for all of us. He came down for the lost so that one day we will be with Him, who is The Way, The Truth and The Life. We know He loves us because He humbled Himself to be with us all.
We know The Way. Let us prepare ourselves for that day of great joy. Take care and God Bless.
