Thursday, Week 2 of Advent
Matthew 11:11-15

Jesus said to the crowds: "Amen, I say to you, among those born of women there has been none greater than John the Baptist; yet the least in the Kingdom of heaven is greater than he. From the days of John the Baptist until now, the Kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent are taking it by force. All the prophets and the law prophesied up to the time of John. And if you are willing to accept it, he is Elijah, the one who is to come. Whoever has ears ought to hear."

Dawg's thought:

Today's prayer intention is for Tracy Leonard, who is struggling with cancer and the recent passing of her mother, Tina Aggire, to cancer as well.

We live in a time of great grace for we know The One all the prophets speak of and we know that He is with us.

We are blessed to live in the time we live in right now. We need not fear for anything because we know Christ, and through The Way, we know where we are going. Therefore, we know how we are all called to live. We are all called to continue to grow in holiness. We must always be thankful for the blessings we have in knowing and being with The One the prophets all speak of. We must always be thankful for the greatness of Our God, and the greatness He calls us each to in being obedient to Him. We must always strive in loving Our Lord in total fidelity and obedience.

We must constantly strive for this because there the evil one wants to take away our souls from Our Beloved. Let us continue to grow in holiness through obedience to The One all the prophets speak of, and The One who all things will come to completion through. Take care and God Bless.
