Matthew 9: 27-31
As Jesus passed by, two blind men followed him, crying out, "Son of David, have pity on us!" When he entered the house, the blind men approached him and Jesus said to them, "Do you believe that I can do this?" "Yes, Lord," they said to him. Then he touched their eyes and said, "Let it be done for you according to your faith." And their eyes were opened. Jesus warned them sternly, "See that no one knows about this." But they went out and spread word of him through all that land.
Dawg's thought:
Today's prayer intention is for peace in the Holy Land.
"Let it be done for you according to your faith."
What an amazing statement in such simple words! In a way, Jesus puts everything back on us. God is willing to give us the gifts of what we need, and all we need to do is put our faith in Him and trust in Him. God already showers so many blessings on us each day!
May your faith multiply like the loaves and the fishes this Advent season as we prepare our hearts for Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Our God. Take care and God Bless.
