Matthew 9:27-31
As Jesus passed by, two blind men followed him, crying out, "Son of David, have pity on us!" When he entered the house, the blind men approached him and Jesus said to them, "Do you believe that I can do this?" "Yes, Lord," they said to him. Then he touched their eyes and said, "Let it be done for you according to your faith." And their eyes were opened. Jesus warned them sternly, "See that no one knows about this." But they went out and spread word of him through all that land.
Dawg's thought:
Today's prayer intention is for those who are celebrating birthday's over the next week.
Jesus became man. It's an amazing thought. It's as if He heard the pleading of our own hearts without us even asking. The pleading of our hearts that cries out to God, "Have pity on us!"
God had to become man in order to redeem man. The question He asks me today, through today's reading, is "Do you believe that I can do this? Do you believe that I can redeem your broken heart so that it can opened to see? It's the pure of heart can see Me, and I long for you to see Me."
Joy to us all, for great things can be done through our faith. Take care and God Bless.
