Wednesday in the Sixth Week of Easter |
John 16:12-15
Jesus said to his disciples: "I have much more to tell you, but you cannot bear it now. But when he comes, the Spirit of truth, he will guide you to all truth. He will not speak on his own, but he will speak what he hears, and will declare to you the things that are coming. He will glorify me, because he will take from what is mine and declare it to you. Everything that the Father has is mine; for this reason I told you that he will take from what is mine and declare it to you."
Dawg's thought:
Today's prayer intention is for those who are unemployed.
If it wasn't for fear of the unknown, fortune tellers would be out of business.
It is scary for me to think of the unknown. It's scary to think of my own future. It's scary to think about if I'm making the right decisions today. It's scary to think about the domino effect of my actions.
When you add heaven to the equation, it's enough to cause anxiety.
Who will you turn to in your anxiety?
As we approach Pentecost, let us prepare our hearts to ask The Holy Spirit for the guidance we need so that we may not turn to things that do not lead to truth. Take care and God Bless.
